Common Faults Of Lifting Clothes Racks

The lifting clothes rack may experience various malfunctions during long-term use. The following are common problems and solutions for hand cranked and electric clothes racks:

1, Typical faults and maintenance of hand cranked clothes drying racks
The wire cannot be locked, causing it to fall on its own

Reason: The steel bowl has detached from its original position, causing the internal coil spring to fail and unable to lock the rotating parts.
Solution: Open the cavity, hook one end of the spring onto the protruding tongue inside the steel bowl and tighten it, fix the other end to the upright column inside the seat, insert the positioning foot of the steel bowl into the clamp and press it tightly, then re wrap the steel wire and reinstall it on the bottom plate.
Unable to shake or excessive resistance

Reason: The disordered steel wire caused local bulging, which hindered friction with the steel bowl; Or the steel wire gets stuck.
Solution: If not stuck, carefully withdraw the wire and pull it outwards; If it gets stuck, open the cavity, straighten out the steel wire, and reinstall it as it is.
Hand cranked cable

Processing steps: Open the cavity, reposition the steel bowl and press it tightly, straighten out the steel wire, and reinstall it to ensure the correct winding path.
Gear damage

Performance: The hand crank cannot drive the lifting and lowering mechanism. It is necessary to check the internal gears and replace damaged component .

2, Common faults and troubleshooting of electric drying racks
Power and control issues
No power/no response: Check the power connection, remote control battery level, re code or replace the battery.
Disinfection light not on: If the clothing pole has not been raised to the top, it needs to be raised before starting; If damaged, replace the disinfection lamp.
Abnormal lifting function
Unable to rise/fall:
Insufficient power supply: Ensure that the adapter is connected properly.
Motor overheating: Wait for cooling and retry; If the malfunction persists, the motor may need to be replaced.
Scissor holder issue: Reverse installation requires replacement, new machines can be manually loosened multiple times if stuck.
Sudden stop during operation: clear obstacles, wait for the motor to cool down, or adjust the position of the rod to avoid jamming.

3, Common component failures and maintenance recommendations
Maintenance and replacement of steel wire rope

Common problems: Wear, fuzz, breakage. It is recommended to regularly wipe with lubricating oil or sewing machine oil (food oil is prohibited), and clean the drying rod and components every 2 months.
Replacement standard: Choose 7 * 7 strands ¢ 1.5mm stainless steel wire rope to ensure rust prevention and load-bearing compliance.
Top seat and corner components

Fault manifestations: wear, detachment, and pulley rupture. It is necessary to replace the same model of accessories in a timely manner to avoid affecting the stability of lifting and lowering.

4, Daily use and maintenance precautions
Load management: clothes are hung in a dispersed manner to avoid deformation of the drying pole caused by concentrated overweight.
Regular maintenance:
Clean and remove dirt from components such as drying poles and top seats every 2 months.
Clean the steel wire rope with oil every quarter to reduce friction loss.
Professional support: Non professionals are not allowed to disassemble the cavity at will. For complex faults, it is recommended to contact after-sales or repair personnel for on-site assistance

By using the above methods, most of the faults of lifting and drying racks can be effectively solved, extending their service life. If dealing with difficulties on your own, priority should be given to contacting brand after-sales or professional repair services.
